This seems absurd. He has just come back from a horrific injury. He won't be match fit, and players are never the same after those sort of injuries.

Waste of a loan space, I really liked him before his injury but massive question mark now. Not needed and does nothing but help Everton out of a financial hole.

This describes the kind of performance he could put in before his injuries? He could be cover if Luka got injured or give Luka a rest after 75 mins or so now and again. Wd give the squad a bit more strength in depth?
