Same rumor that was pitched last year and it was complete rubbish like most regarding Wilf.

No one has even asked or anything regarding Wilf for a year.

50m wouldn't get him anyway Palace would be fools to let him go for 25m basically due to contract clause with United getting 50%.

If he goes it would be 70+ and Dortmund wouldn't be paying that out

If you believe the reports on sky sports, there's ongoing talks between wilfs people and Dortmund. This rumour seems to be a little more believable than the others.
Could see wilf pushing for a move this summer, he seems more on edge this season and let's face it, he's not been at his best.
Would miss him something rotten though.

Presumably it is 50% of anything above what we paid for him rather than a straight 50%.

One of the biggest mysteries in life is that loud stupid people normally don't have even the slightest inclination that they are stupid.

I think his performances this season will have lowered his price - probably permanently. He's 26 now, and it's difficult to continue talking about potential at this stage. His shortcomings with the mental side of the game have become very apparent and have not improved - if a big club does come in for him, it won't be for the £60 million plus that we thought we might get.

No way do I think we should sell, by the way - I'd love to see us properly build a team that gets the best out of him here...

Sell, sick of all the arm flapping etc. Also, he's become too easy an excuse for the others to use to hide their own shortcomings "if Wilf doesn't play we don't win" etc. Also, I think he's ruined it for himself with his public 'attack' on the refs (he was right, but they're never going to give him anything now)

He's the best we've ever had, but as the song goes, he's just too good for us. Sell now, he can go on and have a stella career and we can invest the money.

If he's over the home sickness thing, Dortmund would be an excellent fit for him.

I agree, recently i have become bored of him. He's exciting to watch, don't get me wrong - but i just feel he needs a change. I feel he didn't help himself with refs, i feel away fans use him as an easy scape goat - he reacts to all of these and we can see it.

I don't think he is the kind of player to realise this, take stock and just have a 'quiet' latter half of the season, in respects to just let the football doing the talking, no protests, no glares, no outbursts.

Like Beckham after 98' - it's not a direct comparison but i feel Zaha is in a tight spot.

Thing is, he is a good player to watch, but we need goals. If he was replaced by two players, one player that scores 13-15 a season for us, the other 15/16 assists, then in my eyes, business well done.

Also, the longer he stays here, we don't know if he will think 'damn i missed out'.

Going over to germany, he can fly out family, friends, every other week - he gets a day off, his money, he can be entertained.

I think for wilf, he needs to mature, one way or the other and a move would be great for him.

This was once a quality forum....

Yes but that's players coming into the Premier League, not leaving - the German newspapers have even been recently laughing at the absurd prices at which teams can sell their players to the English

Top post, I feel he's definitely got to go by the summer.

Not really fussed either way. Unbelievable player when on form, but not on form enough. We need money to buy goals , he hasn’t scored in 14 games. Not sure if he’s ever hit double league figures in a season?
If he was playing at his peak , would love him to stay, his body language says otherwise. If he was as motivated as his Instagram suggests he is, we’d be getting 100m. I think he may be the classic example of being a good player at one club, someone said he would be tearing it up in the Man City team, a couple of performances like he’s had recently, he’s be on the bench. If Mahrez can’t get a start Zaha can’t either.

In fairness I think this would have been said in regards to how far Pep brought Sterling along in just one season. I'm sure he could do wonders for Wilf too (to an extent anyway )

Didn't Roy recently have a public dig at Sky for making up stories?

Can you really see wolf wanting to go Germany? Think of his personality, his kid, cars lined up outside his mansion In purley. His mates, I can’t see this happening at all. In fact even if palace wanted to sell at 70m I could see him personally rejecting the move
