My doubts are based on the belief that the BBC is guilty of nothing more heinous than ploughing a centrist liberal agenda in a world that is becoming increasingly polarised.

For a supposedly neutral reporter of news, adoption of any position, centrist or other, affects its reliability.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I guess I just meant middle ground, neutral, etc. It seems to be so busy not trying to offend anyone that it pisses almost everyone off.

It would be more accurate to blame the Mail itself which is the biggest spreader of false stories around today, with the exception of Fox News.

I know a journalist who used to work for the Mail. He has told me a thing or two about how they are instructed to present things.

Come now Wisbech. You have been living in Cebu too long. Failing to spot classic South London irony.

My god man, anyone who watches any of the major news networks and can't see the bias in almost every story must be blind or deliberately obtuse.

The BBC website isn't centrist by any stretch of the imagination.....It's full on 'progressive'.

The social justice adoption of racial and other minority targets isn't 'centrist' either......What is exactly in the centre about that? How does that differ from 'progressive' politics?

No, I think calling the BBC centrist is more of the reality of twenty years ago not today.

This is absolutely right.
Centrist suggests a large degree neutrality and that is clearly not the case.

Perhaps you're both right. I find it just as nauseating as the bloody Grauniad.

And now venturing into anti male and anti white propaganda which is where this is all inevitably leading.

Bias depends on your own viewpoint. Those as far to the right as you get a very distorted view of anything that's in the centre, because it's all to your left. Only those with a view in the centre can see both sides.

Doubtless you think the Mail and Fox tell the truth because they hold opinions that match your own. You could always surprise me though and tell me that you think they are biased.
