On a serious note though these gift receipts which are available at marks, debenhams boots etc and most high street stores should allow to exchange for other purchases to the value.

I bet a lot of people shop at Primark not because they need clothes but because they want, or think they need a particular item or look. Cmon rudi i was jesting as i beleived you were.

Possibly they have done this to deter those who would buy something (especially for the Christmas party season), wear it for an occasion and then return it to exchange for something different for next time. I gather this is not an uncommon practise with some women
