A Claude Puel signing at Southampton for £14 Mill. Had a good start to his Southampton career scoring a flurry of goals in his first few matches but last season he only scored 5 in 36 games and this season he has got 1 goal from 15 games but he hasn't been a regular starter. There's a reason why he's not playing for Southampton. Ask any Soutjampton fan. The guy can't run. He isn't cut out for English football. he'll do great in the Spanish or Italian leagues, where referees interrupt the game a lot and give him free kicks and where the playing speed is much slower. He's a good poacher, but not a fighter

Talk that Southampton won't be spending any money in Jan, unless of course they off load some players. Suspect this player might leave but abroad.

Gabbiadini is the type of player who comes on in the 65th minute and immediately buries the ball in the back of the Palace net. If we did get him it would limit the damage........

If I'm honest... with our current striker situation over the last 12 months I'd happily take Marco Gabbiadini!!!

I WILL be surprised if we sign Gabbiadini.Not heard of any interest in him. I have seen the player a few times.Left-footed with a fierce shot with his left foot and has got good movement but certainly not lightning quick over the first 25 yards.Prefers the ball to feet and I noticed he always made runs to the near post to get on the end of crosses.
