I am guessing nothing will change for today's game, Roy I'm sure will keep the same team and they deserve it.

Let's keep Guaita but I'm but sure about Zaha as a lone striker. Don't think he did fantastically against city there so maybe put him wide again even if not as an out and out winger.

I can see the Guaita/Henno situation going the same way as the Ward/AWB situation.
Guaita has come in due to an injury and taken his chance with good performances, can't see Hodgson dropping him whilst the team are doing well.

I don't blame Guaita for De Bruyne's goal.

It was intended as a cross and everyone set themselves up for just that.

If Roy wants genuine competition for the position then I think Guaita should keep his place, it's then up to Wayne to win it back.

This 110%

At last we have a keeper who moves off his line . About time too. Has to be Guaita. I've been praying for Hennessey to be replaced for a long time. Let it be.

I think If there is any doubt about Waynes fitness at all stick with Guita. I think Wayne is a little bit more solid and Guita has had some hairy moments. But it’s a good problem to have 2 quality keepers.

Tough on Wayne as he's been excellent this season, however Guaita has stepped in and taken his opportunity and now it's his shirt to lose.

2/2 wins speaks volumes. Can't change it now.

Agree Guiata should stay. But still concerned that he didn't move for the fluke de Bruyne cross/shot - should he not have judged the flight of the ball and tried to get to the back post?
It's not really a criticism, but a question....

After 2 good performances if Wayne comes straight back into the side Guaita will be wondering what does he have to do to get "a run"..!!

In this scenario would be concerned that he might start thinking he's future is not at Selhurst Park..!!

Which would not be good, given we have spent the last 2 seasons or so trying to identify/sign a worthy replacement for Speroni.

So definitely Guaita for me..!!

Guaita.

Wayne can't just walk back into the team now. We have a new number 1 until he either gets injured or loses form.

No dissent from me - Guaita should keep his place.

Re City's 2nd goal - with mis*** crosses it's incredibly difficult to judge the flight of the ball. My feeling is that Guiata slightly lost his bearings which may be why he seemed not to go for it. I don't judge him too harshly for that. I agree that Wayne would have faced serious flak had he conceded such a goal but not from me - it was a fluke goal.
