Nah, he's been one of our bright sparks this season. A real threat going forward and not as bad as everyone makes out defensively. Got some real quality.

Agree $25 is a good sum...but I'd turn it down. Just.

Yep, 25 million for a 28 year old left back.

If we didn't need the money perhaps not....but we need a striker.

For £25m???... Although I just can't see that price happening then yes absolutely... We have to think about the greater good of the club.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

At the moment we are not in a positionto sell our best players. PVA is definetively one of those even if his defensive DNA could have been a bit stronger. And he always shows passion for his shirt...stay please unless a really silly offer!

Oh yeah. You spotted the deliberate mistake , I like to dot a few about to make sure people are paying attention.

I can't see this being true. However, if it were and he left I think I'd prefer to see Souare try and win the shirt back. Before his injury he used to get up and down the pitch like a steam engine and could deliver a mean cross. Not as good as PvA, but I think he could do a job (if he is the player he was).

£25m is a lot but for me he has absolutely bought into Palace and I would imagine he's a great person to have in the dressing room. We need big personalities and leaders in times like this. I wouldn't sell him and I think he's one of those that we'd only realise his true worth after he's gone.

If it was a legit bid a sneaky phone call regarding Clyne, who’s twice the player in my opinion, would be in order.

C'mon pal you don't know your right-backs from your left-backs and are contributing no quality to this debate.

Maybe you think Martin Kelly should fill-in there.

How utterly naive is the OP? They claim we could get a "decent" left-back for under £10m.

Schlupp cost £15m! and that was when the market was half the price.

When you sell your first-team starters you kill the team.

A big: 'No' from me.

Can't believe some of the responses on here, we will not replace PVA even with 25mil. He is wanted by Juventus and Roma for a reason. Schlupp isn't half the player and Souare is done. Get a grip people, if we start cashing in on players in January we are going down. You cannot afford to try starting a buy and sell business when you are trying to stay up.

For £25m yes. But only is we invest that money in a couple of attacking players.

He's certainly one of our better players but LB is one of our stronger positions. Schlupp could drop in with Souare as cover.

What a daft question. Why would you sell anyone good when you are bottom of the league. Attracting quality players is tough for a club like Palace. If you have one, keep them.
It's not rocket science.
