Sometimes in season long loans there is a recall clause by the parent club but I doubt if Swansea want him back !

Let's hope some club wants to buy him off Swansea !

As for Abraham, I believe he is on a season-long loan at A.Villa.Last season he scored less goals for Swansea than Ayew did !

He is but I was watching the championship goals on sky yesterday and they said there is a clause that Chelsea are allowed to accept bids for him in January.

I was contracting in Bristol for 4 years and got to see him play during a few live games. I sussed he was good enough for the prem and that time and I was right.

This lad is excellent and exactly what we need - take my word for it.

He has height, skill and can finish. He's still young so may have the off game but rarely did I see that when I watched him. I'd just hope if we got him we'd give him a fair few games to prove himself.

I'd say he's worth paying up to 20m (IMO)

I agree with this. If we could get our strikers back to fitness (Wickham and Benteke) and have Abraham, we would be heading in the right direction. Abraham is young and could improve a lot. He seems decent enough already.

Abraham only scored 5 goals for Swansea in the PL last season. He was given a number of starts but after the New Year he was mainly on the bench as he wasn't really doing it for them.He did score quite late on in the season but this was against WBA who of course were relegated.

He is doing well for A.Villa this season but they are of course a Championship team.He believes his best position is on the left but we are already served well in this position.

If he picked up an injury he would be sent back to the swans , now lads don't be waiting for him outside the training ground .

I must say I don't think we should rely to heavily on Wickham... He has been out for so long that we have no idea whether he will return to what he was before he got injured... Obviously I hope that he does!!

My memory must be bad. I remember a player that looked a right handful for a couple of games , but on the whole was bang average, didn’t always look particularly interested and was guaranteed a start for a long period and didn’t score many goals.
When players are injured , their perceived ability level does seem to increase, especially when we are crying out for a striker , I think Wickham would need to come back better than he was before to add a positive value.

Casual I actually agree... he was very inconsistent and it took him a long time to settle in. When I say returning to the player he was I do seem to remember him hitting a rich vein of form just before his injury which has probably added the rose tint to my glasses!!

In all honesty it's been that long since we've had a decent striker of any kind that I'm happy to clutch at anything!!

Agreed, if nothing else he is our number two left back. By all means get rid of Mutch, Puncheon, Ayew.
