I would expect even a loan signing to be better that Jimmy Greaves. To be fair Greaves is in a wheelchair having had a stroke, so Ayew beats him on the movement aspect. Otherwise I’d take Greaves. Frankly I’d take Fozzie Bear from the muppets over Ayew.

He was poor today. I watched the game and whilst he did run around a bit, he certainly did not link up play well. He conceded possession a lot, lacked control and composure and exhibited poor decision making. Edited by Helmet46 (16 Dec 2018 7.17am)

He's piss poor. Gives the ball away constantly and obviously has an attitude problem. The first half sitter sums him up.

Without knowing the precise reason, I'm not going to speculate and make assumptions regards his head shaking when he was substituted as it can mean different things. Whilst not knowing the facts with regard to his reaction we had the facts in front of us in terms of his performance and once again he never delivered one to suggest that he could be the answer as a central striker for us and appears to have spent the summer at the 'Benteke school of finishing'. He scored 11 goals for Swansea last season, a struggling team that got relegated but alas, thus far,he has not shown that sort of form.Acquiring a striker on loan with that scoring record in the PL for a relegated team seemed to many to be astute business but as we all know it hasn't worked out at all. Good position in the box near the byline with players queueing up and he puts it on the roof of the net. Lets the ball bounce off his arse in midfield and Leicester get an attack going from it. And teed up for a shot from about 20 yards he sidefoots it feebly into the defender in front of him. Even Bumfluff would at least have whacked the sodding thing. Absolutely completely and totally s***e. Agree but amused to see you still use bumfluff as your benchmark. Btw he scored yesterday.

Thought Sorloth did a lot better than Ayew when he came on. Ayew didn’t do enough to take the pressure off and lost the ball too cheaply. Pathetic lack of intent with the chance he had.

This sums him up, lost possession in midfield, but instead of trying to retrieve the ball when only a couple of yards away, just stood there and let Leicester build an attack. We need to get rid of this waste of space as soon as.

Watch him track back on Gray's heels from within the Leicester half to the edge of our penalty area. He doesn't even have the commitment to kick him up in the air on the half way line. woeful. Kind of odd as he was continuously penalised for making poorly timed and unnecessary challenges in their half. Edited by steve1984 (16 Dec 2018 10.29am)
