But a lot of fans have little faith with the club doing anything in January, FFP probably dictates this so this is the level being looked at. I personally think Defoe may be able to do a job till the end of the season.

I think Defoe would cost about £2m for six months. I'd take him all day, I'm a big fan and I'm sure he'd love playing for us.

Too close in the league to see this loan move. Should of bagged him when he left Toronto but doubt we would of met his wage demands at the time.

Despite his age would take him in a heart beat, would still know where the net is and make the runs into dangerous areas that we are missing, him Zaha and Meyer would keep us up. Maybe Bournemouth would pay some of his salary given there ffp problems of late ( what I mean is even losing £60K a week of the bill would help). Best friends with PVA

To be honest with our awful options up front I would take him.. Like Super Kev he may be at an age where he can't play 90 minutes week in week out but players like that never lose there natural instinct to at least force the keeper into a save.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |
