Don't forget the Club is run by daughter of previous owner. She has seemingly no interest in the sport - might have something to do With the fall of the Saints. Not sure it's right to heap the decline on Reed....

So the summary is that Soton deteriorated under the last year or two of his tenure Very much a coin toss on whether he would improve us quickly as changes to development would take time and we don't seem to have the funds to buy in quality Sadly BHA have a very effective CEO although his product not really the CPFC way. Our CEO was originally hired as Marketing man having been previously in same role with Swindon then made CEO by Goldberg in 1998 per online research. Never met our CEO but wonder if we need someone with a different level of experience.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

The current Chairman and Chief Exec Krueger and Rogers were in these roles when Katharina Liebherr was the owner. Edited by Willo (26 Nov 2018 2.00pm)

Southampton have also consistently overperformed relative to wages. In 2012/13, Southampton came 14th in the Premier League with the 18th highest wages, in 2013/14, they finished 8th with the 14th highest wages, in 2014/15 the club came 7th with the 9th highest wages, and in 2015/16, they came 6th with the joint 8th highest wages. Pellegrino was their 5th permanent manager since the start of 2013 - in 2014 and 2016, their manager was poached by other Premier League clubs. A number of star players have gone the same way. Within 7 months in 2014, Southampton lost 5 leading players, their manager and their chairman, and they made a £30 million profit in the transfer market.

His time as Charlton Manager will alway be fondly remembered by me, as he was utterly useless. No clowns at Palace, please. We have enough already.
