The EU will get their military even if the majority of nations only supply a token amount of troops, There's plenty of bored, unemployed, low Iq, underskilled military age economic migrant men kicking cans down the street in Europe that could comfortably fill the ranks.

Sorry mate....but how dim is this? Apart from it not even being what I asked for. Every country has contingency plans for wars with any number of countries.....Do you seriously think generals are paid to check marching lists? I mean god sake, we have have some of these war plans and considerations on the Internet between allied countries if you look for them. None of that is serious or represents any serious plans for war in government.....I'll ask again, give me some quotes that the British government that they were seriously considering a war with the US. The truth is that this is just more anti US and western BS from fifth columnists who complain about the west whilst sucking from its teats Edited by Stirlingsays (11 Nov 2018 6.05pm)

Why a 'red plan' don't know, we automatically think of communists but Britain was in the hands of the tories. Any British plan considering a war with the USA - that is new to me but, as you say, there must be contingencies. You just have to go back in time to 1930 and look at it how it was then. Rooseveld kept his suspicions right up to Yalta, he was ill and distrusted Churchill's supposed empire ambitions, giving most of Europe to Stalin.

There was never, and I repeat never any serious plans nor concerns that the US and the UK would be going to war back in the thirties.....or indeed for a couple of centuries. You linking to a typical piece of sensationalist tripe from the Mail for people weak in the head says quite a bit. While a war with the US was never on the cards that can't be said for what we saw developing in Europe and especially with Germany, where there were periods of serious planning for war before both WW1 and WW2. You two are simply anti US (anti Uk for that matter) and are willing to twist truths.
