We’ve turned the corner, played well in the last 3 games against tough opposition and are unlucky to come away with just 1 point.

As Roy said after the game, results will come (probably not in the next two though!). There are 4/5 terrible teams in the Prem this season. We are not one of them.

The number of times I've heard the 'unlucky' description.....it's not something I believe in over so many games.

But I agree with you that there are poorer sides than us......However, that doesn't always result in who goes down.

If we lose Zaha for any significant number of games, we become one of those sides.

We are by no means comfortable.

That's what happens when your transfer policy has been poor these last two years.

his confidence is shot and by not using some one to their strengths wont help get it back

Don’t forget to blame Parish for his rubbish signings up front.

We have no options whatsoever up top. Ayew and Sorloth are rubbish, and Benteke can’t score for toffee.

Benteke had a fabulous scoring rate, being 49goals for Villa,19 in his first season alone and 15 goals for us in his first season.
Sam knew how to get the best out of him when our current bunch do not appear to have a clue!!

He missed the most ‘good chances’ of any forward in the league last year. Missed loads of headers in front of goal and enough chances with his feet.
Who’s fault were the misses?

Funnily enough, Ruud Gullit was on MOTD2 earlier explaining what he thought had messed up Morata’s game/confidence & I thought he could well be speaking about Benteke.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

Parish signs the chequs, he doesn't tell his managers who they are going to get, he goes by what they and the scouts recommend.

According to some on here it must be the fault of Parish

I'm not so sure as none of us really knows what goes on in the transfer department and to say that "he doesn't tell his managers who they are going to get" could well be wrong if the rumours about Parish signing Wilf over Pulis's head are true

Any manager who objected to our signing Wilf should have been out on his arse without delay.

OK, but thank goodness there is sometimes the exception to the rule

Hodgson's tactics remind me of the classic Morecambe and Wise sketch, where Eric says to Andre Previn " I played all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order!" Hodgson is playing the correct players, but not necessarily in their best positions.
Zaha need to play out wide with Meyer in the centre behind Sorloth or Ayew.

Let's keep the ball this season!

Two more defeats likely, many would not be surprised, over the next two games, denting our goal difference as losing games to good sides, apart from the good Arsenal point, becomes the norm.
Can Roy turn this very bad run of results around by Xmas is the question before serious questions are raised???
