This. I'm not ashamed to admit I sometimes play it on my headphones to hype me up while I'm heading to play football

You're not the only one.

On a related note, "Ich folge dir gleichfalls" from the St John Passion by Bach. ("I follow Thee no matter what"; the music is of course a setting of the Gospel for Good Friday).

My son-in-law had a song on his TV which I recognise from Selhurst Park.He informed me the song is called 'Sandstorm' by Darude.

The long good friday - reminds me of nervy nights under the lights for some reason.

Zombie Nation - Dont play it anymore but that use to hype the crowd up just before kick off after glad all over.

A town called Malice - Because what other song sounds like "a team called palace"

I have found that in my 16 years of season ticket holding, the pre-game "hype up" music has deteriorated (in my opinion), though i was only 10 back then so maybe it all just seemed more of a big deal.

One of pre-match favourites & so Selhurst. A great film too.

A stockbroker urged me to buy a stock that would triple its value every year. I told him, at my age, I don't even buy green bananas!
