That's a bit harsh. I'd say he had at least as many brains as a football.

Think you're being a bit harsh. Came close to scoring 2 goals again't wloves, if he had we d be saying how good he was. At least he was getting in the right places to have a shot, which was more than most of them were.

The very definition of 'damning with faint praise'

Has ability and is a decent step in for PVA at LB, but no replacement for RLC. Looks fed up.

Said it when he signed, repeat - more or less complete lack of football brain.

Pape's driving incident showed that we did not have an adequate replacement so Sam decided to get 2 left sided players namely PVA and Schlupp. If Pape had not got injured I doubt whether he would of been signed. With AWB's arrival, Ward could easily fill in for injuries. Looks the worse of all those Sam Jan signings at the moment. 52 appearances for us and 1 goal. That said probably prolific for our attack at the moment.

Both started against Wolves though. He took Meyer's place, although JMac made way for him and Sorloth for Schlupp at the death ? As mentioned Ward could step in at left back if need be.

So, so poor coming forward.

How can a player with pace constantly slow down play with indecisive, slow, safe passing options all the time? That or he tries to get cute and loses it.

He can do a shift defensively (he is a left back) but coming forward he is such a weak link.

How is he playing as our main attacking option on the left? Wtf.

He actually started his career as a forward and Nicky Forster, then manager of Brentford signed him as a striker on loan from Leicester.I remember in his striking days lacking a certain composure in front of goal.A player who has played in a number of positions and not really excelled in any of them.

Sam Allardyce's first signing for us - I believe he cost £9 Mill rising to £11.5 Mill with add-ons.Certainly not worth this sort of money !

That is the irony, Willo, as that’s the sort of money you pay for your second left back these days.

If Souare hadn’t crashed his car we maybe wouldn’t have been in for him. Funny old game and all that jazz.

What he cannot be, ever, is our main attacking threat on the left.

Squad player at best who's best moments have been when coming on as sub or starting after a few games on the bench . Seems to go stale after a few starts on the trot .
Was a panicky buy when we were desperate for a left foot though its not his fault that we handed over such a fee .

I have a mate who is a huge Leicester fan and he called me and just laughed down the phone when we bought this guy.
To be fair he has had good games but he is a bench warmer not a starter for me.
