Close, but a narrow Palace win. It's games like this that we must win at home.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

By then I was hooked. 2-1 to Palace that day, so (obvs) my first Palace win. I remember being struck by Newcastle’s hooped socks, which seemed more suited to rugby. Edited by YT (21 Sep 2018 7.34am)
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

It's about time that we stuffed the Toon, we never seem to although my memory is fading. Anyway I think Jordan Ayew will get a brace Wilf to get his usual key goal Palace to win 3-1. COYP

I saw Newcastle v Cardiff and it was a truly woeful game. Benitez has them very organised though so they will be tough to beat. Also, as much as I dislike him, every time I watch Shelvey I can't help but think he would be great for us.

A very tight 1-0 Palace win. I really hope Roy starts Meyer, sadly I doubt he will

The Newcastle and our midfield worries me Luka is not playing like last season and as mentioned if we play like last week I hate to say it I can see at toon win. We can’t let their midfield take control of the game. Newcastle will play it tight and look to snatch a goal if they do I think they will close shop so we will need to put pressure on them from the off Three Toon players we have to watch are Diame, Perez and Shelvey, who has been on the bench the last few matches so that might be a good omen. If we come out with all guns blazing then fingers crossed a 2:0 win to us

Luka needs a rocket up his arse after lasts weeks display. If we play to our potential we could scrape a victory. Unfortunately, I think it will be 1-1.

Some kind souls have predicted a 1-1 and whilst our supporters will be very disappointed at failing to secure a win, perhaps it is worth considering that whilst Newcastle have not made the best of starts they have played Tottenham,Chelsea, Man C and Arsenal and only lost to each of them by a single goal.Tough start for them in terms of fixtures.
