The HOL. It’s becoming a dictatorship - freedom of speech and debate no more Where did you get this idea that HOL or indeed any other forum offers freedom of speech. In almost every forum that I've looked at people who sign up agree to abide by their rules so if you're looking for freedom of speech you're looking in the wrong place

RH doesn't agree as after the game he said it looks like we have got ourselves a centre forward

Do you really need to make comments like this as a mod? And don't you think that in principle freedom of speech should be considered as a standard. We are all adults on here and unless things get either really offensive or petty threads should run their cause. Originally posted by Midlands Eagle

Thought he had a decent gamd today, but clearly still not completely fit. Hopefully he'll get a run in the team and soon start knocking them in

It means you can say whatever you like within the rules which govern proper conduct; i.e. you may have the right of free speech but people also have other rights which have higher priority. That said I don't see what this has to do with free speech. The moderators moved a few posts about, and merged the match thread into some other thread, then restored the match thread title (whilst I was about to ask them WTFWGO). This was confusing at the time because the match was actually underway; and some of the merges didn't seem logical, but I don't recall seeing any posts actually getting deleted and if they were it was probably by mistake. Mods, match threads during the actual match itself are busy and manipulating their structure during these times does hamper the usability of the site. Edited by chateauferret (15 Sep 2018 9.10pm)

We can't keep hitting long balls when he is in the team though, as he is not really quite tall or strong enough. Much more mobile than Bentenke or Sorloth though and I think he just needs to find some match sharpness in front of goal. Not a bad effort today in a game in which we never really got going.

Massive improvement from the previous game. He will only get better as he gets fitter and gets to know the team a bit better. As for the unnecessary thread merging, doesn’t really seem to be happening to make it easier for people using the website, more seems to be done by mods to feel important. Happened with mods locking threads before transfers had been announced with Ayew I think, I wonder if it was the same mod, maybe he/she just doesn’t like people talking about Ayew?

I don't know what happened to the merges as I wasn't on site at the time but occasionally merges do foul up and posts disappear but I don't think that's what BarEagle was referring to anyway

I think thats the whole point, it must be hard enough being dropped in for your debut at a tough away game, but when the rest of the team are playing below par it must be double hard.Seems like the general opinion is he did pretty good, so must be promising for the future.
