1. We miss Cabaye's abilities in the midfield, need to find an answer there.
2. I had no idea Meyer was so tiny.
3. Benteke looks exactly the same as last season.
4. Palace held their own against Liverpool for large stretches of the game.
5. Sakho makes me nervous every time he's around the ball.

2017 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Middlesboro
2018 Jan. (Sako) Palace 1 - 0 Burnley
2019 May (Batshuayi, Batshuayi, OG, Van Aanholt, Townsend) Palace 5 - 3 Bournemouth
2020 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Newcastle

Salah's centre of gravity must be up near his hooter if the ease with which he goes over is anything to go by.

We missed that bleeding annoying drummer.

The referee gods have evened up the scale after their largesse at Fulham.

Wann Bissaka is great.

After a good runout versus Fulham, Benteke was back to being disappointing. Very.

Roy's substitutions are often too late and then often flawed.

1. We are a good team and difficult to beat
2. Liverpool will give some teams in the league and good thrashing.
3. We aren't going to win every game.
4. Posters need accept defeat gracefully, not go hunting on the blame game.
5. Hennessey is no longer subject to undeserved blame for every concession of a goal.

1. Benteke is not going to make the difference this season, well not in a positsve way.
2. We need the HF atmosphere, flags and banter back in that corner. When the oppo took a corner it had the backdrop of a family picknick at a evangelist meeting.
3. We are a good side that shouldnt fear any team.
4. Meyer was class when he came on, not bothered hes not a giant ( neither was Zola)
5. Roy is a legend , even when doing tv interviews.

1. Wilf appeared to be much more restrained when he was fouled - not the usual song and dance. Is this a new development?

2. Benteke's confidence is shot.

3. Our passing game is improving and is massively better than 12 months ago.

4. Luka has developed a new technique (at least I never noticed it last season) when delivering corners - sends the ball in on a fast low trajectory with some spin on it.

5. Sorloth may be a replacement for Tekkers - the only worry is it may be like for like. I just hope not.

It is actually quicker getting the train than driving to the game.
I can have a few beers when getting the train but it takes a while to get served.
My lad is happy as he gets more sweets when I have had a beer.
I have to go for a P at halftime if I drink beer beforehand.
It takes longer to get home on the train and it’s a mad house getting on.
Not a bad night out all in all.

Agree that Ayew would have been a better replacement for Benteke last night as he would have presented a different problem for Liverpool.
I felt Roy was trying to be fair to Sorloth in bringing him on as he has been at the club longer than Ayew and perhaps deserved an opportunity. But that meant the pattern of the game was similar to when Benteke was on.
I agree that Meyer does look slight and am not sure he will be one of the two central midfield players but will instead feature in one of the slightly wider midfield positions.

Yes he is slight, but Cabaye was hardly what you would call big or sturdy, and i assume thats the position he will take up eventually.

2. PVA 'fouled' TTA whilst Wilf was away down the left but it was given. Ref Bias.
3. Salah 'penalty' given but was an obvious dive. Ref Bias.
4. AWB 'red' could have been a yellow as Salah clearly lost control of the ball.Ref Bias.
5. Meyer wiped out by VVD 'penalty' could have been given. Ref Bias.

Oh bugger, thats just 1 thing!

i agree he is good sending out 11 but subs are his weak point, speaking to westspam supporters kouyate always looks better in advance role, should have brought him on for Teke

Benteke has lost it

Wann Bissaka what a future

same old ref decisions

Hennessy looking better every game
