Sadly i didn't manage to catch the fight, so cant comment on how Fury progressed from his last one which was truly awful.

What I would say is that he looks to have continued shifting the weight since that last outing and going the distance...even if against a poor opponent wouldnt have hurt him either.

As for Wilder...sue he'll go into it as the underdog, but what I would say is that Wilder would overlook Fury's superior nouse and ability at his peril.

On the face of things if Wilder doesn't put Fury away within 5 rounds he'll lose a lot of credibility...and personally i think that plays into Fury's hands with his spoiling tactics and superior boxing ability. That and the fact he'll be another 3months of training fitter could make this very interesting.

Fury is 3 or 4 fights away before being ready for the Wilder fight, amazes me that its come now. Probably be a good spectacle nonetheless but your'e bang on about Wilder losing credibility if he doesn't put him away (at all).

I agree about just how quickly its come around...esp based on Fury's comeback which was woeful...the fight in the crowd was better!

The flipside is how many times are we as boxing fans screaming out for the best to fight each other only for them to carry on fighting hand picked opponents to pick up an "easy" wage with little risk. It's refreshing and respect to fury and wilder for making the fight. That's how bad boxing has got, it's actually hard to believe these 2 have agreed to fight in December seemingly so easy.

The venue is apparently the Staples Centre in LA. So Wilder makes the huge step up from his usual 19,000 arena, to a whole 21,000.

What happened to "Vegas baby"?

It's going to be at a really watchable time for the UK as well...

UK currently has lots of good fighters.

I can tell some in here do not understand boxing just typical fans who think they know about the sport.

Fury looked very good lots of movement controlled the fight.

really looking forward to this next fight

Let's see who is right. I think Fury will lose through inactivity. Even the great Ali fell short after 3 years off and a few warm up fights, and his warmups were against proper fighters.

Anyone can look good when fighting people way below their class. If Fury beats Wilder then it will either be one of the most amazing comebacks ever or Wilder is not very good. He will have to knock Wilder out in LA and that ain't likely on his best day.
All the signs point to a payday fight for Fury with the chance of another against AJ win or lose.

I think he'll lose because Wilder is going to hit him.
