8/10 for me good business with the little money SP & DF had. With the 1 loan players that's perfect as if money is tight we have room to bring in another loan in January

Solid 7 from me - I think. Really it depends if Meyer is all he's cracked up to be. If he's has good as we are led to believe and settles in quickly then this could be a 9.

We've also, I presume left ourselves a little bit of wriggle room for January depending on how things are going.

Given that we are seeing significant rises in player prices each window we have done shrewd business this window. Cleared some off the books and replaced where we needed to. We will never know the total costs, signing on fees etc but looks like we have done what we needed to at a fraction of the cost of other clubs.

Of course can't judge Ayew, Kouyate, Guiata and Meyer yet. Will Ayew offer anything or just be a `meh` average player? Is Kouyate the solid midfielder we hope he is or the player Spammers are happy to get rid of? Is Guita the great keeper we think he is or another Mandanda? Is Meyer the bargain of the season, a young creative player with bags of potential or a boy with an overinflated opinion of himself?

We won't know until at least a few months time but in my opinion all risks worth taking at little outlay.

A solid 7 1/2 out of 10 for me.

8.5 / 10 from me.

Given our financial constraints we've lowered our squad's age/wages and potentially improved it too.

And we have space for another load in Jan (I think there may be a few available with the bloated squads of several clubs now) or maybe even space/cash to make some astute signings as needed.

Its going to be interesting.....

Very decent window. Four players with good pedigrees in the door, probably £60m worth with about £10m outlay and another fee later if we keep Ayew. And Wilf going nowhere.

Addressed most of our issues within that without shipping in lots of possible duds on big wages. Think Fulham and Wolves have gone in like a kid in a candy shop and will end up with a few Mutches in there. But then someone forked out £50m for Richarlison who is a known dud so you never know.

Only concern is still not sure we've got enough creativity in that midfield, strong though it otherwise clearly is.

Appears to me an excellent window, a stronger squad and only spent a minimal amount.....Strangely, the only one I would have liked to have added after seeing Fulham nick him on loan, would have been TFM, back to us to cover all the back line...but that's just nit picking...and as the Yids have shown it's just as important to keep your players as buy new ones....so a very good transfer period for us.

money a bit tight, but for 9.5 million we have had a fantastic window, off loaded some huge wage earners, and Meyer will be a great signing, we can look forward to a good season under Roy

Only issue we did not let some of the kids go on loan, they could do with some game time

I think it’s for us an excellent window. Defensive cover like TFM would have been perfect, but this is pretty darn close.

We kept Zaha, that alone makes this a great window, everyone else is a bonus.

Meyer looks a player and I can’t wait to see him fit and in the team.

Kouyate is a great signing and so is Ayew, they are the sort of players that can push for a starting place and even if they can’t break in, it offers genuine quality from the bench for a the first time since promotion.

Guita we have to wait and see, but we needed a keeper and we brought in one.

I was getting worried seeing the money that others have spent and the number of players, but for me we have done everything we needed to and we haven’t spent big, so we should have some for January and we have a loan space, so we effectively still have a hand to play in January. If someone from a big team like RLC or Welbeck can’t get in to the team, we are in a prime position to offer them a 6 month loan.

A great window and a smart window from Dougie and Steve.

sensible

we were on an upward trajectory with Roy and really finding a great and effective style in the last half of the season so best not to mess with that too much and I think the players we have brought in can help improve us

lots of clubs have really bought far too many players

there will be difficulties for some of them making them into a cohesive unit - not all of them will be a success - some teams will find it a struggle despite the big expenditure

there will be lots of other players who aren't happy about their opportunities and we'll be in a good position to strengthen in the next two windows

we'll have enough to entertain and collect sufficient points for mid table until then - because we are lacking depth

last chances for Kai Kai, Williams and Wickham

Hmm...for me I’d have to say 7/10

While Meyer is the pick of the bunch, he is as yet unproven and only time will tell. If he doesn’t work out we will be lacking creativity and it seems we won’t have the money to buy it in Jan. 8/10 potentially 10/10 excited to find out

Kouyate is a good player who can also fill in at centre back. Good purchase but honestly...I’d have much much preferred Livermore from West Brom. 6/10

Guaita has a great record. Always thought this was a fantastic signing. Perhaps the only concern is, will he settle? I hope so and if he does he could be a Palace favourite. 7.5/10

Ayew is actually pretty good. Watched him play for Swansea and my mate is a Swansea fan and I’ve always said he’s a good player and he’s always agreed. Likeable player who tries hard. I think a perfect fit for us. He might not seem like a 1st 11 player but he can play anywhere across a front 3 so I expect him to get a fair few games this year. 7/10

9/10 for SP as the money spent is nearly nothing. I do hope this means there is some wiggle room in Jan if needed.

My main concern is that I would have liked to see a winger. I know Ayew likes to come in from the left and Townsend and Wilf can play either side if needed. Just always seemed for a team like ours that we lack that pacey replacement winger. 1st 11 is top 10 but 3 key injuries and we are bottom 6.

On the face of it, I am happy with what with done with the limited resources we had. I think for me, it was keeping the core squad together, given our very good run towards the end of the season and will hopefully keep that momentum going.

It's very difficult to say how it will all pan out, obviously, but we will see what each of the new lads have to offer. I am confident with Kouyate and Ayew, and I am eager to see how Guaita (haven't seen him in action, yet) and Meyer perform.

Only improvement for me would've been trying to get another striker, and I think Origi would've been a good alternative to Benteke, and give Benteke something to work against. Ayew is a good addition in this respect, although I feel he'd be deployed on the wing, or next to Benteke.

Overall, I am quite confident going into the new season. Hopefully we'll have a season where we are not worried about relegation, and finish somewhere in with "the best of the rest."
