I think it's a very good bit of business - obviously he is not top notch, but can do a job. I think the most important thing about this acquisition is that it does give Bentek something to think about (I don't think Sorloth will ever really be more than a back-up Premierleague striker), and also it allows Zaha to play in his more natural wing position, or at least switch during the game.

Passion, verve, eloquence! Yes Jordo, I bet the lads can’t wait to meet up with you either to hear some of your fantastically witty repartee. I couldn’t listen to much of that...
So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

not sure if this montage of his play last season for Swansea was on the transfer thread I really see him slotting right in - clearly potential to cover for Wilf or Andros or replace Benteke if we need to go 4-3-3 the most predictable part is that his best goal was against us - we really concede to some excellent strikes (Ali, Borini, Giroud etc etc etc) As i see it, we didn't sign him to play for us, but so he couldn't play against us, however as Swansea are relegated there was no point.

We have made a couple of good signings. But not going to start raving about an average striker joining on loan. We have the second lowest spend this summer after Tottenham who spent nothing (as they don't need to). I think we need to spend cash to avoid the relegation battle we endure most seasons and finish strongly in the top half of the table. Someone needs to balance the books. We have previously spent big in order to stay in the Premier League. This has worked but it has obviously left us a bit scrapped for cash in the last three transfer windows.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Not really sure what he brings to the party for us but as only a loan nothing really risked. Maybe he can be a useful player off the bench. Don't see him being a starter.
