and value his insight. I like the way he doesn't

sit on the fence [ like most 'pundits' ].

But the main reason I like him, is he reminds me

of me about 50 years ago, I had to know every

single thing about every team [ in England ].

Matteo............Question......Our two signings

this week.......any comments?

Thank you.
Kouyate and Meyer?
Kouyate is not my favourite, but I don't dislike him either. He's a decent defensive midfileder, but I don't just look at the English league, so that is why the move seems narrow minded to me, as Palace seems to just transfer players from England or very well known or from Roy's Scandinavian scouting connections, nothing else from Europe. So, overall, a player like Ngadeu from Slavia Prague is for everythiing Kouyate is and more at a price and salary of25% what you pay for Kouyate. But you have to know where to look.

Meyer I really like and I think he will do ok in England. Needs a little patience as he's just 22 years old, younger than Sorloth even. It's good that he has also played central midfileder cause he has learned a lot of defensive duties doing it, but his best position is behind the striker or on the left.

Matteo, this isn’t patronising but have you thought of contacting parish or Freedman to enquire about a role at the club?

Also a genuine question, but how the hell do you know about the player from S.Prague to the point that you can recommend him ahead of Kouyate. To do this you must have seen him play multiple times... how and where?! Genuine question!

I think you should be a consultant to the Club, save then from rushing in to deals

I think the suggestion is that you've thrown so much s*** at the wall you'd think you'd have made something stick...and yet you missed bot Max n Check in your summisings!

It shocks me that people genuinely suggest he should have a role in the club.

Firstly no where does it suggest he would accept 65k a week. It's also reported that Suning have said they don't want to sell him after what happened with Inter.

He also hasn't played a single league game for them this year with 11 games in the league having been played, just one game in the cup which he was subbed in.

He's 31 which is massively getting on for someone who's game is about getting from box to box and I highly doubt he would sign for less than half his wages irrespective of how much he wants to come back to Europe.

This almost feels like Willo has given up with his last charade and come back as Matteo.

I’m not even kidding but I genuinely wondered if he was Willo’s Latest alter ego.

He’s on the wind mate, just ignore. I think (hope) most people talking about a role in the club are doing it tongue in cheek. When I can be arsed I’ll google his player descriptions and find out who actually wrote them originally

We wait till the last week of the window and someone pops up and says we’ve rushed in to a deal. Christ OP is letting himself down with posts like this agree.
