Rudi - Yep, needs to stay fit, but I think Wilf is going to be on fire from game 1. Personally, I can't wait for the season to start to see who he tears a new one for this year.

I'm feeling very optimistic. We've looked good every game in pre-season, coming off the back of our form 2nd half of last season. Zaha looks like he'll be even better again this year, Townsend has been our best player for preseason imo. His work rate, runs and even crossing and some of his corners have looked better. PVA and Zaha are really starting to click together down the left. I would like maybe a better goalkeeper and a centre mid or two but I think we're looking good. 8th place finish I reckon

If we were entering a knockout tournament I'd be delighted with the 14 or so players who'd be getting the game time. Roy's done a great job of turning them into a slick unit.

Our bench does look weak though. Genuinely believe we're in need of ~3 players who would be pushing hard for starting spots to get us through injuries.

If any of Luka, Wilf, Townsend, McArthur, Schlupp were to pick up an injury we look desperately short of cover for them. A CAM, CDM and winger to replace Cabaye, RLC and Sako and I think we look alright.
