Shocking signing if true. Absolute s***house and not the brick kind, just the dirty grimy kind.

Yeah, well, the other player on the list, Gonalons, is not that goody goody either: It's a trait of most defensivi midfielders. Grujic is at least young and could be able to change. I remember Axel Witsel breaking someone's leg when he was a teenager in Belgium, it was a big scandal. But he has learned more, grown and been more careful since, making no other terrible injuries in the last 10 years playing as a defensive midfielder. Grujic could learn too.

There must be something in all of the rumors the last few days. Koyoute, Gonlans and Grujic, all play in similar positions. Koyote: 10 mill and proven prem player, not `stand uout` but solid Gonlans: 10 mill too (ish) year older than Koyoute at 29, unknown quantity in the PL so more of a risk, could be better or worse. Grujic: Talk of it being on loan so no fee, only 22 so potential to get much better but with that comes inexperience. The decisions the board have to make. Personally, given our current situation I think Koyoute is the best option, maybe get Grujic on loan as well if we can.

Good analysis Mwncisee, but there would be cheaper options than 10 million Kouyate available. See the thread I made, I put forth a lot of names with an asking price of 5 million or less.

Sorry to say,yet another lost target, as Grujic is set to sign a loan deal with Cardiff. Question, with days remaining in this window, will we manage to sign anyone as we are missing more targets than Benteke missed goals last season!!

Read Crystal Palace.com are running the text ‘Hodgson is looking to add to his midfield, with moves for Grujic and Chelsea’s Danny Drinkwater in mind.’ No quotes so who’s mind I’d like clarification on, but if Drinkwater were to come to Palace I would be very happy.
So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

I was just making comparisons between players we have actually been linked to. I suspect the reality is, with all these things that simple phone calls or contacts of availability have been made by the club who are looking at a `pool` of potential targets to purchase. This in turn is quickly leaked and hyped up by news outlets who no longer really have to have too much substance to their articles so a tentative `Whats the availability of XXXX` gets reported as `Eagles launch 10 million bid for XXXX` Edited by Mwncisee (26 Jul 2018 6.09pm)

Quotes that he is going to discuss his future in the next few weeks. [Link] although may have to do so before the end of deadline day. Reckon this one will go to the deadline day wire. Sure people will blame Parrish for that.
