Perfect Cabaye replacement for a season. It would be an ambitious move probably make our better players like Zaha happier to stay

Didn't he say he would play for any club in the Premiership for only £1 per week. Surely we can afford that but if not I am happy to donate £52 to cover his year's wages Ooh you never know with FFP....maybe we should ask players to pay us for the privilege of pulling on the red and blue. I would pay.

Our scouts surely can do better than that, knowing for a year or more that he would probably leave.

Depends what sort of nick he is in really. If he's anywhere near his former levels it could be outstanding. If it's another Adebayor / Edgar Davids situation then swerve massively.

Wow that would fill the Cabaye hole we have. Don't mind if he's slow, we have pace a plenty in our team, no problem with him being a bit slow. He's class and would run the show. Good legs all around him, would be different if our other players where similar age / condition. Plus the likes of Nayb and co could learn lots from him. If he doesn't demand stupid wages... then great idea. Would even tie up an option for a second year in the deal if we can.

I quite like the idea. Unless we can get a loan and purchase deal for RLC then I'd rather help Nya and jaïro by bringing in someone who they can learn from. RLC just takes their space. Parrot

Wasn't he offering a refund to any team that wanted to sign him if his performances were not up to scratch ? Edited by Booted Eagle (22 Jul 2018 8.41pm)
