Sorloth looked way way way off the pace. Let's hope Wickham stays fit to back up benteke. Keeper looked good to me. Far better than Wayne.

Stays fit?????.... We've been waiting about 18 months for him to get fit first!

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

If he persists with it to that extent in the Premiership it may cause us a few jitters.
The pace of closing down will be x10 it was today.

Throw into the equation that Sakho is quite good at putting himself under pressure, without any help from the goalie, and we seem set for more than just a few jitters. I sometimes think that some of Sakho's play in tight situations is almost as good as Wilf's, but when the inevitable happens and it all goes wrong the result can be disastrous. I don't think I'll ever forget his back-heel into his own goal area last season.

We are seemingly in the same position as last year, with just one fit striker (who accordingly to accounts looked way off PL pace yesterday).

Ridiculous.

I don't think Benteke is going to be out long, but Wickham, well that could be a long story.
