This time last year and various people had the right hump that palace weren’t producing any players...

Now potentially we could have a game this season with AWB, Nya, Kaikai and Wilf all playing.

Talk about proud to be Palace!

The more players we bring through the stronger our academy will grow.... as young talent will see south London as a place you can break through to the big time.

Kaikai took his goal fantastically... as someone els said. I hope we give him some more minutes central to Wilf to fight his case.

Also hope the club finally manage to get the planning permission they want at Beckenham so we can do the upgrades necessary to move the acedamy to the next level.

Ian Wright was that age when he signed his first professional contract with us....

Come off it, I know we’re desperate with our striking options and bless him he’s one of our own, but he’s debut was against Pardew’s Newcastle in the league cup nearly 4 years ago!! If it was going to happen it would’ve happened by now, with the formation we play can anyone seriously imagine him leading the line against the elite next season?

The penny that needs to drop with Kaikai is that he has to seize the initiative. That's better sharper movement & taking players in with belief. I wont write him off forever but it would be surprising if he was close to the requisite level now to play in the PL apart from cameo appearances.

Late bloomers nothing new at Palace. AWB had never even played a senior game of football at any level before getting parachuted into the run of games against Top 6 teams this season and he did brilliantly.

Don't forget Nya Kirby should be floating around the periphery sooner or later.

Personally I haven't seen enough in the lad to make me think he will become a decent premiership striker. That said however not have I in Sorloth and at least he's always fit unlike Wickham.

We desperately need a half decent striker signed before next season.

The best judge of his ability will probably come against Toulouse, if he impresses there then give him a chance against Fulham on the 11th. Obviously best to get a new striker in just in case, but if Kaikai can do it then at least he can come in on rotation and provide some depth. We may also see John Bostock appear for Toulouse too.
