For some reason he reminds me of a young Welbeck. Think his next move could be important for him, right move and he could be a real star, poor move I can see him being loaned out season after season and not really developing and `disappearing` as one of those `might have beens`

If he's anything like 15 mill this is a definite buy. Is there any chance of moving Bentenke on? It's not that I don't rate him but with Abraham in I wouldn't see him getting many minutes and that's a lot of salary to be sitting on the bench and as I understand it it's the salary cap that is the biggest problem in bringing in new players. Move him on now - even at a fairly hefty transfer loss - and we would have at least some room for manoeuvre in the next windows. Wilf, Abraham, Sorloth and Wickham should be sufficient cover for up top and the saving in salary would allow us to look for cover down the wings down the line - that's the next hole to be filled

Abraham on loan would be great, but would rule out a loan deal for L-C if he becomes available either before the deadline or in the winter window.

Eindow ended with no move for Tammy Abraham. Wow!! He can now only move on loan to a Championship side. Sarri's system will involve only 1 striker, that's how he played at Napoli too. Chelsea can't bring another striker in, so they'll save 2 out of Morata, Giroud and Batshuayi. I really can't see them selling 2 of those and relying on Tammy as second choice. There are already reports about Abraham possibly going on loan to Derby because he won't be getting playing time as 3rd choice striker unless it's cup games. Going to the Championship seems so little for a player like Abraham. He already proved himself there, he's at an age when he needs to be playing in the PL. I can't believe no PL team signed him. Is Tammy Abraham the biggest loser of this transfer wwindow? He's relatively unknown abroad, so I can't see him transferring somewhere else like Giroud or Batshuayi can. Now he's stuck with only a possibke loan move to the Championship.

I suspect he’ll get a move abroad. Chelsea are well enough connected after all and Young England is a definite brand nowadays and there’s even a pretty good track record for young English talent out in loan. If Chelsea want it to happen they can make it happen. And I think you’re right the Championship would be retrograde at this stage and he’s unlikely to get meaningful minutes at Chelsea. Chelski don't give a rats about their young talent. I think the issue was the crazy 10 mill+ loan fees they were asking for RLC/Abraham. That's a huge fee for a loan player for a season plus wages. It's little to no benefit to the loaning team unless there's an option to buy with the fee coming off the price. So it's off to the championship for them - I doubt either will make the 25 for them.
