Maybe they are still harbouring hopes for RLC who didn't boost his standing with Belgium display and had Dier picked ahead of him as sub v Colombia
RLC is a different type of player to Dier. It was purely tactical, as opposed to being picked ahead of

Cabaye not re-signing was always on the cards and therefore no surprise. He did a great job for us and will always have the fans admiration.

I think wilshire would be a good addition. He has the experience and think he's injury troubles could be behind him Edited by Hootie121082 (05 Jul 2018 8.36am)

Yes we need to cover Cabaye and maybe Loftus-Cheek if he’s not coming back but not at any price !

The big question mark over Wilshire is his physical condition. Can he play PL football weekly and stay fit? I'm not sure his history suggests that this is likely. It is always tempting to sign a player from a big club but perhaps we could get much better value for money elsewhere as we did with Milivojevic. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (05 Jul 2018 2.59pm)
