When are we as a nation going to stop using this stupid term ? Why do we think we own the sport ? Football is a gift to the world, its home is anywhere a ball is kicked. I cringe when i hear brits use this term, and its happening alot on TV lately. Worry not as it'll be a case of ''They're coming home' instead come Sunday morning and the day after defeat courtesy of Sweden's superior battlefront and organisational play. Much time for Southgate and several players but still too many holes in game esp. holding possession and weakness in final third (except Kane)

IFAB was set up in 1886 and FIFA didn't come along until 1904. It doesn't sound snobbish at all, arrogant from an outside perspective perhaps. Lack of cash bribes lost us our recent World Cup bid. Football is a gift to the world but Britain is it's home. Ask any cricketer (or fan) in the world where the home of cricket is and they'll all tell you the same answer. We should take pride in it.

Given their behaviour I am surprised football 'fans' are allowed abroad for all the harm they have done to us. They are on probation as far as I am concerned.

Modern day association football rules are british. Nothing wrong with being proud of your heritage. I doubt that that expression is what resulted in previous england teams being crap. I assume you’d rather have the fans sing kumbaya instead. no thanks

I couldn't give a crap what you agree with, nor what you're concerned with. You're lucky not to have either been reported, or carded straight out, for some of your posts in the past few days. So you now talking about behaviour is risible. You're a troll.
