Why? Both are already under contract and in Wilf's case, quite a long one

Both are arguably the main reason we are still in the Premier league. Yes they are already under contract, but getting them to sign improved contracts, gets them to commit to the club by rewarding them and hopefully warding off suitors.
If both were pinched by other clubs, I am sure you would be one of the first to complain.

Well we have escaped the last two seasons by the skin of our teeth and last season’s escape had nothing to do with SP but the position everthing to do with him and the board. If we do not recruit and improve on the quality and depth i fear this season will see our demise. I have no doubt i will be shot and cursed for this but for those who say have faith, in what? To go onto a season with one striker and then to not rectify the situation in January! I have faith in Roy but if he is not provoded with the tools he can’t do the job and will be off, who would blame him?

I'd hope if we are selling Townsend we have a better player lined up?

Townsend is a good player who works hard for the team but needs to add a few more goals & assists.

RLC will not be coming back to Palace.

I think he will but will be a season long loan again. Doubt Chelsea will sell & i doubt he'll get much game time there either.

A lot of people who sit near me would shoot me down for mentioning this but I'd offer Everton 10 mil or if not perhaps even a loan deal for Yannick .

Great for us pants for Everton, might be happy to run down the wing for me again

Well maybe we wont need to . RH will play a system that suits the players he has and maybe Townsend no longer fits .
Our probable fullbacks are more suited (IMO) to a wingback role and we need to release Wilf Zaha from his defensive duties .
I think RH is maybe thinking of a 3-5-2 or a 5-3-2 (not much difference dependent on what half your playing in )

Quite. Given our track record of keeping proven managers, perhaps SP is learning..?

And hasn't Wilf been tapped by every team in the top 6?

IF he is, then relegation is the inevitable outcome. Personally, I doubt that he's suddenly become senile.

A little left field I know, but I wonder if we may sign a new right back and play wan-bissaka where Townsend plays if we were to sell him. Purely because to buy a right back may be more cost effective than signing another attacking winger.

He has the most assists in the Premier League from all players of the other 14 teams outside the top 6, only behind Mahrez.
