I am the leader of the PL at the moment and, yes, I go for lower scoring matches because that is a common feature of tournament matches played in quick succession.

These scores are often the lowest odds in football betting so what is wrong in backing the favourite.

A goal by the "opposition" team in the first minute reduces my possible points haul to 1 point at HT if there is an equaliser and 2 at FT if the chosen winning team wins. So I see points disappear quickly as well.

I play the PL in the spirit that is intended and I am grateful for the comments by fellow Palace diehards in support.

Now I don't have to tell you good folks what's been happening in our beloved little town. Sheriff murdered, crops burned, stores looted, people stampeded, and cattle raped. The time has come to act, and act fast. I'm leaving.

Woody - If Palace were topping the Premier League even whilst not winning every match we would be high fiving
each other every Monday morning. That's the kind of run I am on.

Thanks Gladys for responding yourself, and also your reasoning. I guess you guys at the top end are regular betting people, and Im not. I dont even do the Lottos
So I bend my views to your expertise, and understand I have learnt something to my benefit.
I wish you all well from Sunny & warm 23o Winters day here in Bundaberg Australia.
Cant wait for August to come round and the World Cup shrinks the time line to the next EPL

I never bet, but it does seem reasonably obvious to me that under normal circumstances more matches will involve few goals, 1-0, 1-1, 2-1 and so on. Today was the first ever World Cup finals match to finish 4-3 after ninety minutes. So to suggest that one would be nuts to fill in a prediction form with lots of scorelines of that sort on it hardly seems unreasonable.
