They were bad enough last year, and must've broken FFP rules, but to spend the amounts that they are as a newly promoted club is bonkers.

Gotta agree with this and staggered that Moses would choose Wolves given such a markdown from Chelsea. Whilst salary might prove to be an issue , I'm surprised that Palace didn't read this one coming.

Did he choose Wolves or wasn’t that the only option? I guess Chelski want to extract as much value and his position isn’t what we much need is it?

Shame as he’s a Palace lad.

Fulham may yet end up spending even more. I’m sceptical if this will work though - when you sign 10 players as both have 5 almost inevitably turn out duds. You also lose the cohesiveness and spirit that are the ace in the pack for promoted sides.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see both sides struggle much more than most think.

Agreed, They tend to lose what they had in the 1st place when they were promoted......

Ony for outgoing loans to anyone who's transfer window is not closed i.e. League or overseas. No incoming loans allowed.

I hope you're right, I just wished as much on another thread.

I did not foresee myself wanting Cardiff to do the best out of the 3 promoted teams, what with them being Welsh and owned by a nutjob, but it has become the case over the summer.

I don't know how accustomed Moses is to scoring goals and creating chances close to the opposition's box anymore. He used to be pretty decent for his age in the 2013/14 or the 2014/15 seasons, but since then he has gotten used to a more defensive role at Chelsea, doing mostly defensive duties.
Wanting from him to the same things up front as he did years ago is unrealistic. He didn't have continuity in that position and will probably just have Schlupp's level of quality, fighting all the time, running, but with little accomplishments.

He did continue to play as right forward for the national team, but on very few occasions.
