I cannot confirm at present if Swansea are actually interested. I suppose IF they are interested they might believe that after 4 games he wasn't given much of a chance at our club !!!! This might be their opinion from the outside but as I have mentioned before, one doesn't get removed from one's duties after 4 games on results alone. Also, Swansea were known as a passing side who played attractive football under Rodgers,Martinez etc and they might feel that FDB is the person to restore what they feel is their identity. I wouldn't be surprised to see Swansea boy and ex-player Chris Coleman handed the reins. Edited by Willo (19 May 2018 11.22am) Classic stuff, bravo, KUTGW

Five managers ago he might not have been such a bad choice. Swansea don't have the players now to play FdB's style of football.

This forum would end up in a ridiculous state if every HOL member who didn't know whether a rumour was true or not were to also post along the same lines but just to please you I would be happy to state that I also don't know whether the rumour is true or not. Any more for any more?

They will be losing players so the new manager will have a re-building job to do.I believe that Ki has gone and Fabianski wants to leave as well. They had 3 loanees in Abraham,King and Sanches who will all probably not be there next season.Mawson will probably go to a PL club.I think quite a few will be gone.Maybe Swansea see FDB as the person to bring in players to return Swansea to their former identity.

Any more for any more? I would have thought that actually debating the subject matter and not gallivanting down the path of scrutinising and criticising phraseology, thereby de-railing the thread would be in the interests of HOL. I did make some salient points after the opening line but somehow these have been 'Over-shadowed' by the desire to hurl further brickbats in my direction. Let's get back to debating speculation regarding FDB to Swansea.

I have just seen this which reinforces my view of Swansea losing players and the fact that the new manager will have to undergo a re-building job.

He might well have to carry out a rebuilding job, but it seems unlikely that he will need to undergo one. Unless he arrives in a state of collapse, I suppose.

Or because C) Willo isn't the Premier League's official spokesperson after all. At this present juncture I can neither confirm nor dismiss the previously iterated notion that Swansea will employ De Boer, Chris Coleman or will be giving up playing football and convert to an academy for transgender athletes.
