He's on the same contract as we signed him on in 2015 which was £60-65K per week.

The papers are saying he's on £100K per week and we weren't dishing those out in 2015.

Schlupp on 56k, when someone like Tompkins on 45k.
I think prem wages and the new structure are the reason players like ward want out!
Cabaye on 60k not the rumoured 86k-100k!!

Think we would be very foolish to let Jimmy Mac go, just imagine what the cost would be to replace. Same goes for Yohan, class act hopefully a couple of seasons left. If by any chance we can gain the services of RLC that would be the "icing on the cake"

Agree, we need to keep the core together, cut the fringes. I think a new goalie, a midfielder and a new striker may well be enough. Much of the team next season will pick itself based on the good run in this season. Particularly would like more different options in front of goal.

With the window now open and just under 3 months until the it slams shut, when do people think we'll make our first signing (excluding Guaita)?

8th August?

It is open for domestic transfers however transfers of players from another national association may take place once the FIFA Transfer Matching System (TMS) opens at midnight 8 June, 2018.

You going for 8 June then? Maybe we should have a sweepstake.
