I suppose 10 assists is not too bad when your strikers are Gestède and Bumfluff. Still looked piss poor last night though.

Looked absolutely sh*t in the play offs. Has had a couple of good spells this season, but no consistency whatsoever. Terrible decision making and terrible end product.

If we could get him and keep our others I think he has the talent to be developed, but isn’t anywhere near PL ready yet.

He has made his 2 premier league debuts with Villa and Boro both against us if I remember correctly. Made papa score an own goal for the villa match.

Think he would be class personally, blistering pace, technically gifted etc. Boro fans think he's way too good for them and he's still very young. No reason why he couldnt learn from Wilf, Townsend and a strong improvement on Chungy in terms of wideplayers as a backup. Also pretty sure he came through Barca's ranks?

Dont let Cabaye go

Maverick type player.

Although is is lighting quick and is physically strong his decision making has been called into question and his end product has been criticised.

It was Karanka who signed him for Middlesbrough in a part-exchange deal with Albert Adomah.

Chelsea fans thought he was ‘lightning quick’ last year, funnily enough.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I reckon lighting must be quicker than lightning. Chelsea clearly didn’t see the best of him.

I really rate this guy, still young and can improve. A very palace type player.

Reminds me of Bolasie. Whether or not that’s a good thing depends on what Palace fan you ask. Loved Yala, but he really was only good every now and then. And when he was bad, he was bad.

I’d probably take the punt if he actually were available. But I’d expect for around the same price there will be other better options out there if we can just show a bit of imagination & ambition.

English leagues most certainly aren’t the only leagues with talent. But they most certainly are the only leagues you will be paying an over inflated price because our football is supposedly so much harder to play than others in the world.

Tell Man City that. The reason other teams have walked their respective leagues is simply because they have been better teams than our top teams for years. Been saying it for a long time, & I think the message is starting to sink in after the season we’ve just had.

If Celtic are a better team than our top teams then I'm a f***ing Dutchman.

No but Bayern, Barca, Real, even PSG have all been better teams for a while. Even Monaco knocked City out of the CL last season.

We have everything in place to be the best footballing country & we’re definitely improving but we’ve been way off for a long time. Mainly due to obsessions with the short term. Here’s to hoping the money + forward thinking & long term motivated managers like Klopp/Pep/Poccetino who aren’t swayed by all the dogma can pull us back to the top but it’s early doors yet.

The point is, I’m almost certain there will be a higher potential, better disciplined & more talented player for whatever the asking price of Traore is, elsewhere. I can understand being more risk averse defensively. In attacking positions we really need to start broadening our horizons.

Well HITC web site it's reporting that his price has been halved around 15M. Time to move on! Make it happen...

Wolves are moving in... We should considering him! He's under 20M.
If we sell Townsend I guess there will be enough funds for him.
