The majority, if not all, of those involved with HOL Radio are on the BBS. The next show will be the last as HOL Radio, but there is going to be a show on Lovesport Radio:

Sorry. Weirdly, it only popped up on my feed on Monday The producers of HOL have confirmed that their decision is not financial. but they consider that they've taken it as far as they can and there will be more detail of the reasons in the last programme. You won't be condemned to eternal damnation if you follow the link to the site that dare not speak its name and read it for yourself

Always listen to Hol, think it's great. Really didn't enjoy LoveSport at all. The host is very bland and clearly has no real interest in Palace and there is far too much non-Palace-football talk. Hol has a truly Palace feel and I will miss it.

Hi all, Sorry to confirm that our recording at the beer festival on Saturday will be the final ever Holmesdale Radio. The response we have had was unexpected and forced our hands a little bit in terms of clarifying that there are plans for something to follow. We do, however, need to close the book on this particular chapter. Lots of people seem to assume it is to do with Lovesport. It isn’t I can assure you. I would encourage people to think of that show as what it is - a Lovesport Radio show featuring our presenters. I’ll speak more in the final show around the reasons, but thanks to all who listened and it particular to Peter and Gordon for giving us a home and a platform to do something we never expected to last over 7 years. Been a pleasure, hope to speak at you all again soon!

I saw someone at a pre-season friendly once with 'Hambo' written across their back, and I thought, 'wow, there's Hambo!' Thankfully, I have since got a life. Easily my favourite post in many a year!

It's the top gear of football podcasts for me and I'm sure many others on here, (old Top Gear, not new). It can change, sure but to end it would be a tragedy. I don't think you guys know how good it is. I liked it as it was for us by us. I travel a lot and it was always a good way to have a bit of Palace in my life, topped only by being able to actually watch a game. I remember calling in after a great result against Coventry. It was good to be part of the show and have somewhere I could call into and chat about a game that had no special meaning to anyone, other than someone on what is 'The Palace Rollercoaster'. I would have liked to have seen the show involve the site more, comment on individual posts made or threads started, to involve the site more but hey. Like I said, I'm sure you have your reasons and good luck to you but I think it's a mistake to kill it off, if you can still carry on with it. There is still FYP and I love that show too but for me, they are like Pizza Express and I love Pizza but I want to be able to have a bog standard bag O chips and maybe a pickled gurkin.. Anyway good luck with whatever it is you got planned. If it's something like the Hol show, you'll have at least one listener. I might tune in as well. Thanks for the effort put in to make the shows. It was appreciated.

Sad to see the demise of what was an excellent show, but knowing a few of the guys who do it I know how much it takes to get it out every week and the effort of all concerned in ensuring it does go out. I guess all good things come to an end at some point though... It will be sorely missed as will the likes of Hambo, Albert, Nick et al Edited by Lyons550 (16 May 2018 12.49pm)
