And my weekend gets 5hlttier,.... My neighbours parked their 4x4 against my mums car, so I inform them , if there is any damage, they are liable (my mum is very precious about her car, and to be honest the 4x4 was carelessly parked) I return home last night to a vitriol-filled email from the neighbours wife, who throws loads of personal criticism my way. I never even spoke to her So I go round today with a bottle of wine and apologise to the bloke, "But his wife is still very upset" I think I have the moral high-ground here, but I also made the first move to reconcile,.....and perhaps that is why I've made her feel worse today. Ball well and truly in her court,....and I didn't even speak to her about parking of their 4x4 in the back of my mum's car Neighbour took the wine,...so I wait Will they drink it, return it under cover of darkness, or smash it through my car window ?

So,..I'm walking the dogs in local woods this morning. I am aware of recent rumours there is a part-owner of the woods who has threatened dog-walkers verbally and with a shotgun on odd occasions. So I go further into the woods, and the shotgun mans car is parked at the far end. I am concerned because he might shoot at my two dogs. But I have no cause to be alarmed, as I meet 3 other neighbours of mine, and the shotgun man is obviously swerving us as the dogs and people are very noisy. Am going to go into the woods tomorrow, without the dogs. Keeping on the public footpaths. What could go wrong ? Edited by Forest Hillbilly (12 May 2018 4.35pm)

And as for the wine, that was a nice touch although I probably would have poured it over her head! I despise 4x4 drivers, Range Rovers are by far the worst. How they are allowed on the road let alone passed their test is one of life's mystery's.
Some people are like Slinkies … not really good for anything, but you can’t help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs. |

Got back from walking the dogs in the woods this morning. No sign of the bloke with the shotgun. So I get back from my walk to find my bottle of wine on my doorstep (returned from the neighbour). Some people just can't play nicely. A shame, but I can do no more. Edited by Forest Hillbilly (13 May 2018 12.44pm)
