Wolves? Really? They've been playing awesomely, I think that would be like playing an established mid table premier league team. Agreed with others, let's play a big club and get it done. Arsenal perhaps.

I think it could be Brighton. Of course it is purely by chance.

Man City away, get it out of the way before they get in their stride. Is the correct answer. Or Man.utd. Get it out of the way then the season can begin. Definitely not a promoted team who will still be on a high early on.

As long as its 3pts don't care who
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Optimistic as ever |

Someone like Watford or Huddersfield. We can play Man City when we're 10 points off the relegation places. 1 more season looking over our shoulder or trying to climb out of the bottom 3 is going to kill off half our crowd!
You fed me, you bred me, I'll remember your name. |

I generally feel 2 things happen at the start of the season - the big boys, even if they have a stuttering start, tend to win the first game regardless. They play awful for 90 and then get a dodgy penalty or something. It just seems opening weekend is heavily in their favour. Of course all the media want to talk about United/Chelsea/City/Liverpool being on 3 points after weekend 1 and speculate it could be the closest title race yet...not that I'm suggesting anything dodgy of course ;-) Second thing I find is the promoted clubs play with no fear and still on a high from automatic promotion or play off win. You want you get them a couple of months in ideally. So I'd say a Watford or West Ham or Huddersfield at home would be best. Then second game the City away game. Like I say, they're almost destined to win their first game but if they are to have a slow start to the season it will be the second or third game the big boys start to faulter if they're going to have a disappointing season, like Chelsea this year.
