With respect I disagree.
At the end of the day Cardiff have finished 2nd after 46 games and above Fulham and accordingly deserve to be promoted automatically.
And let's not forget that Cardiff only finished 12th last season.

Congratulations to Neil Warnock, his backroom staff and of course the players.

This is my point. Not that it's unjustified because of hidden issues, but because it's a fluke. A one time thing. Their squad was not amazing.

Yes, they foght with their teeth and managed to clinch it. But they won;t bring the same quality to the PL as Fulham would have brought

Warnock does it again, his 8th promotion.

On his day a shrewd tactician, an excellent manager installing belief into average/good players.

Will need massive investment going into the PL I would think.

Yep. SBDA IMHO. Two places left to fight over.

So finishing in the promotion places after finishing the season before in 12th place is a "Fluke".Give credit where credit is due.

As for "Their squad was not amazing" - if this is true then all credit to Warnock and his coaching staff for moulding them into an organised outfit which has secured automatic promotion.

Warnock this week said that if he was going into the last game of the season with a chance of getting into the play offs then he would have gladly taken it.so he clearly didn't expect to be where he ended up.

One could say the same when Palace got promoted. That was a fluke.

Just seen the Championship results from afternoon, well pleased to see Neil Warnock get promoted. I really didn't like him when he was at Sheff Utd, but ever since he was at Palace and his subsequent clubs I have a lot more time for him. He really knows how to play the championship division.

Also, well done Derby for making sure those brainless Bermondsey idiots stayed out of the playoffs.

Not a fluke as in "bad" or "should have finished mid-table", but a fluke as in finishing 1 point ahead of Fulham.

Still, good for them! They earned it

I'm struggling to understand how finishing 1 point ahead of a rival is a "Fluke".
If we finish 1 point above Brighton will it be a fluke ?
Maybe I am missing something.

Cause Fulham had a better team. Wasn't it a fluke that Leicester won the Premier League?
They fought for it and deserved it but it was a fluke

I admit Leicester's achievement was very unexpected and a major surprise but they finished top and it's not a fluke when you finish top after 38 games.

As for "Fulham had the better team" - This is debateable, in any event let's not begrudge Cardiff their achiement in finishing 2nd after a gruelling 46 game season.Certainly no fluke !

We will have to agree to disagree on this matter.
