If you taste the same meat, fruit and veg or ready prepared products from Waitrose down to Aldi and Lidl I promise you that there you get better products the more you pay, with a few exceptions here and there. This really applies to fresh food, although if you look in the tinned sections of Sainsbury’s and Waitrose some of their tinned veg is on a different level.

Put it this way. If you go and pay loads of money on a meal out, you’re going to notice if the stuff has been bought on the cheap.

You can eat well with good tasting food on the cheap. You just need to know how, and lots of British people are clueless on this.

here's another tip: If you want to avoid those chavs who wear baseball caps and shout at eachother go before 10 AM, they're usually still in bed at that time

I think that is the general assumption people make, but I do not think it rings true.

I've Of The 4 main supoermarkets, Certain things are better from all places. Morrissons good for buchered stuff, Tesco good for pre-Packaged stuff, Sainsburys Veg and Asda ummm, is a bit cheaper ?!

Aldi And Lidl have a different business model, So it's difficult to compare.Used to be based on buying short Date items to Pass on discounts that way, but they seem to sell different value lines now, and is more about cheaper outfitting and marketing, and getting as much footfall as possible.
Some of their produce is just as good as in the more expensive competitors though.

Shopping at ASDA Swanley is such a grim experience given evident large % of feckless, obese shoppers roaming around with the additional feature of bladdered, chain smoking locals frequenting adjoining grim budget land high street. No chance of buying a postcard given that it become a mecca area for the feral..

I’ve eaten all of it, including all you’ve mentioned and I disagree. People thinking that the same food from a cheaper place is just as good are kidding themselves.

On the Morrisons butchers counter, which I’ve eaten from, the beef is bright red. It should be a deeper more purple red colour so before you’ve even eaten it it isn’t a match to pricier meat.

Sainsburys pizzas are definitely different between price points these days. I actually like the mid range ones rather than the taste the difference ones. Pizzas are supposed to be a simple snack of dough, tomato and cheese and not complicated with some of the taste the difference toppings anyway. I’ll go for pepperoni but not much else. Maybe onion or mushrooms if someone else has provided it.
