They did seem to suggest he missed the foul on Zaha for the red card and the assistant gave it.

Not sure how reliable that is ofcouse !

Watching the replays immediately after the incident, he obviously knew that a foul had occurred because he straight away glanced over at the linesman and gave him a thumbs up. Looked like it was a 'yes, I saw it but thank you for confirming' expression on his face.

He was unsighted for the red card so, quite correctly looked at linesman. Linesman signalled a card and that Wilf was pulled back very clearly. Best referiring performance I have seen at Selhurst all season. Let game flow, used advantage rule freely, kept up with play, judicious in use of carfs/verbal warnings. Blimey why can't we have this every week?

I can't remember more than one or two yellows, which says something, given that there were times in the first half when proceedings started to resemble a rugby match. What that says I don't really know. But it made for great entertainment (not that I'm biased).

Was sat in Block H of the main stand directly behind the linesman.
Zaha was pulled back by Albrighton and Mike Dean didn’t seem as though he had seen it clearly himself as there was no obvious spontaneous reaction from him. He did however look over to the linesman on our side who indicated unequivocally that Zaha had been pulled back and with that Dean had the red card out of his pocket within two seconds and quite rightly sent the Leicester player off. I’m not sure why Leicester protested so strongly.
Excellent spot by the linesman, who I thought also had a very good game, and superb bit of refereeing by Dean.

The only one time I thought the referee and linesman our side got it wrong was when Townsend got taken out from a tackle from behind and no foul was given. This was in the second half, moments before Cabaye received his yellow card.

All in all I thought the officials were very good and would settle for a performance like that each week.

Amusing to see some people on Leicester fora calling him "a disgrace"!

The best "team" i have seen this season.
Worked well together and took collective responsibility!

2nd week on the trot that we shouldve been down to 10 men and werent...
last week is was Joel Ward who escaped this week is was Cabaye, who on a booking then kicks the ball away when they get a free kick;and not just kicks it away but puts it into the stand...
im not sure which Leicester player it was but he certainly asked the question of the ref/linesman...
cant remember what the score was at the time and think it was in the 2nd half;prob wouldnt have made a diuff to the score...
about tiem we are getting the rub of the green?
