I can see how the ref made the mistakes he did, even though every decision should be in isolation and only if they l see it, but that’s how it will always be.

But it sounds like the pundits are a joke as they’re looking on recorded film.

Kilbane isn’t used much now by the media so he tries to be controversial just to get attention - just like Chris Sutton .
Kilbane just showed his complete ignorance tonight with the rubbish comments about Wilf. Mind you what did he ever do as a player to warrant this job?
I listened to the game on 5 Live and Terry Butcher said it was a stonewall pen plus he kept saying how Watford were targeting Wilf with fouls plus trying to wind him up ! - and that’s from a bloke who has done everything at the top level

I agree with almost every comment made; that was a disgracefully biased piece of nonsense from the BBC last night. Our problem is that, with Wilf, we've reached the 'AJ in 2005 syndrome' where he'll never be given the benefit of the doubt because the court of public opinion has spoken.

To be fair, what he was saying about wilf getting too involved in the game was true. He needs to realise that teams are going to wind him up and foul him, but need to shut up and get on with it. Every time thd cameras were on him he was arguing with one of their players, and if he hadn't gone down and claimed he was fouled in thd first penalty incident (which never was, you only have to look at the palace fans behind him to see that) he may have got the penalty that should have been awarded.

I agree.
If he stopped the silly stuff then that was a pen.
I also thought he left his foot in against the keeper when he didn't need to.
I love him to bits but sometimes........

The only way Wilf will get the benefit of the doubt is for him to move to Spurs Chelsea or Arsenal when he will suddenly be 'entitled to go down' or some other nonsense cliche trotted out by Shearer, Lineker, Kilbane and their thick know nothing mates....BBC and the Mirror both very very biased, just dont watch/read either of them!!

Sadly you are probably right.

Quite a lot of deluded comments on hear lol!!!! Thought the pundits comments were completely fair. Wilf doesn’t help himself by pleading for everything and needs to learn.

Loved the idea that it was Wilf's "petulance" to place a hand on Decoure when he had run about 40 yards to be involved in the incident. This was "inadvertently" missed by Kilbane.

Something most of the clubs including our own voted against coming in next season so we cannot really complain about that not being used now.

No doubt some managers will though next season - Wenger started it last week!

Thought his comments were a bit off. Didn’t quite understand his take on the foul outside the box and falling into the area. The fall looked natural to me and I don’t think he even appealed for a penalty.

The challenge on the keeper was a ball he had to go for, no malice. You’d expect your strikers to go in to try and win that. To call it nasty was over the top.

I didn’t watch the game but the highlights would suggest Wilf was a constant threat. He deserved praise for his performance, not Kilbane sticking his boot in. Had the penalty been correctly awarded he would of probably been hailed for a match winning performance.

The reality is that no one outside Palace likes Zaha and that’s a testement to how good he is. He just needs to accept the hits and not rise to it, he’s an easy target for opposition as he’s so petulant. It’s this behaviour that puts refs and pundits off. He reminds me of a young Christiano Ronaldo
