I never ignore stats. I was merely trying to indicate Leicester's recent less than impressive form in response to those who perhaps feel that a Home win is almost inevitable. Of course Southampton's results speak for themselves but they will not be facing a Leicester team in the best of form. The Leicester team who beat Southampton 4-1 earlier in the season at St Mary's.

I have a sneaky suspicion that Southampton will survive this season, but I reckon it will be at the expense of Huddersfield rather than Palace (who will also pick up more than enough points). That said, I'd rather it didn't go down to the wire.

Given recent bad results at home, I think Leicester will want to put in a performance for their fans + added spice of Puel's old club. If Leicester play anything like, they have a much better team than Southampton and should win.

Let's face it Willo, every game our relegation rivals play, you think they'LL get something out if it. And yet every game palace play you think we won't. Strange way to support a team.

My sentiments regards tonight's game and other games featuring our relegation rivals are expressed in terms of "Don't be surprised to see XXXX get something from the game". It is not an unequivocal statement that I firmly believe that they WILL get something - I am merely stating staying that if our rivals get a point or more this won't be a surprising result as far as I am concerned.

Funny how you're always "not surprised" when it comes to our rivals getting something from the game. Yet when it comes to Palace, you predict a loss. Come on then oh oracle, what do you reckon about Watford v Palace or Palace v Leicester? Will our opponents be on the beach then?

I don't always prognosticate in terms of a loss for our team but given we have lost nearly half of our PL games this season if I have erred on the side of negativity then maybe I deserve a modicum of credit ! My predictions on HOL have been the catalyst for some strident criticism and even brickbats which veer the debate well off the subject matter so perhaps I should refrain from gallivanting down this avenue.
