This is such a Troll(ey) post intended to do nothing but derail the thread.

The OP's suggestions are pie in the sky sadly. Iniesta would never leave Barca for another European club, and if he would we'd be about 50th on the list of clubs who'd want him in spite of his age.

I'd like to see Lookman and Charlie Austin come in.

I'm looking forward to the World Cup to see some unknown name from one of the smaller sides have a good tournament and start to be linked with us and all the other smaller PL clubs. Iran have some decent forward players who fly under the radar like striker Sardar Azmoun who plays in Russia, Jahanbakhsh is a winger who plays for Alkmaar and has a good goal scoring record for them.

It would be nice to get hold of a player with a bit of buzz after the tournament. Always fun. I remember United buying Poborsky in 1996 and feeling gutted as I loved him in the Euros and didn't want him to play for Manure.

Dubravka is the keeper we need, not Forster or Buckland, neither are better than Hennessey.

If my memory serves me well, Newcastle signed him with a view to a £4 Mill transfer at the end of the season.

Unlikely as he is quoted as saying that he wants to play for a club that isn't always flirting with relegation and with the best will in the world that rules us out

The best two players we've signed in recent years have been ones that haven't played in the Premier league before and on pretty much nobody else's radar.

Luka & Bolasie.

Iniesta is going to China for the sort of wages our top 5 would be on, collectively. Plus 2 million bottles of wine apparently, which I doubt Mr Browett could even stretch too.

I think we would have a good chance with Butland. If you look at our 'competitors', I would suggest that nearly all of them would be happy with what they've got apart from perhaps Watford and Bournemouth. Looking at the current table, he wouldn't displace any of the top 9 sides 'keepers.

I think Liverpool; Spurs; Arsenal and West Ham would see him as an upgrade...so when I said 'competitors' I meant simply anyone who'd be interested in him rather than those teams around us.

Can't stand him...too selfish..always wants to shoot on sight; give the ball away...he's not a team player. So thats a 'no' from me though I appreciate others would like him...but i'm not sure what that is based on tbh.

I would not be surprised to see Joe Hart at Palace. Was first choice under Roy and he needs to kick start his career. If he could reclaim his form it would be a great signing. I don't think West Ham want him so would be a natural fit for us.

Please do not let this happen. Roy should've benched him during the Euros, he was awful then and has stayed that way since.

Free kick expert - can score from brilliant free kicks and his dead-ball delivery is of the highest order.Scorer of good goals rather than a good goal scorer.

However he can be inconsistent and can do the unexpected but maybe his workrate isn't the best which effects his defensive responsibilities.

I'm really hoping Villa don't get promoted so Grealish might be available. If (please not) Zaha leaves then I think he could go some way to replacing him on the left side of midfield.

I would like to see Jay Rodriguez, Nathan Redmond and Jake Livermore replace Benteke, Puncheon and Sako as squad players as we have a keeper already signing
