Well he was a miserable git when I tried to speak to him in Metz town, pre season friendly. The squad were walking around the town and we were having a coffee outside a cafe, he didn't have the time to barely acknowledge me despite the club shirt on, let alone ask if we were there for the match etc. He reluctantly shook my hand but he & the other three squad members with him kept walking. Embarrassing brush off & I thought a brief chat would have been at least respectful. It is what it is.... Were you eating chicken at the time? If you were then maybe he was just being respectful and didn't want to disturb you.

He'd be a decent sub in a cup game we don't want to win.
I refuse to believe there are that many people out there that can't spell. Too f**king lazy, that's what I think. |

Another body to add to the squad does appear a bonus but we already have plenty who are not good enough in that position so no one really cares

on a personal level i like him. Gipsy Hill connection. Cries tears of pure Crystal when he scored the goal that kept us up. on a professional level, the prem is ruthless and demands the best or get relegated. Be consistently brilliant or get sold to a championship club. love puncheon, but love palace more.

Can't see any other club being prepared to pay him 35K a week so he is contracted until June 2019 Originally posted by topcat
I always liked him but I agree that we have moved on from Puncheon. He is reportedly on £35k a week not £80k.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

JP is Palace through and through and has done as much as anyone to keep us in the Prem. I’ll never forget his Cup Final goal at Wembley nor his immediate reaction to Pardew !

I think it's a shame he didn't leave after the FA Cup final and miss out on all the stick he has received since. He has never been the same player since and until Hodgson came in he was consistently called upon despite nearly every fan recognising that he was no longer contributing enough. Once a great player for us, but sadly no more.

Pack him off to China with Benteke. I'll buy them a one way ticket.

It is what it is.... as a contrast, i recently found myself sitting in traffic in croydon, next to Wilf in the batmobile. I rather cringingly said across the void of the cars "keep up the good work mate" to which he replied "cheers bruv, appreciated" when he could have completely ignored me....

Puncheon did seem to have lost the pace needed for the Premiership; but maybe judgement should be deferred till the effects of a break on a seriously overstressed player can be seen.
