I can honestly say that apart from a pair of black denims I had back in the early 80s I have neither worn or owned a pair of jeans. And to think there are people stupid enough to fork out 150+ Bucks for a pair of those ripped at the thighs & knees style actually makes me despair. A desperate case of 'Emperor's New Clothes'

Such lovely attire. I do adorn jeans but only for walking around the house or in the garden - never go out in them.I do take a pride in my appearance and would rather 'Dress Up' in public than 'Dress down' but I fully appreciate that those of the younger generation prefer the more casual look and depending on the garb it can look very nice. I readily admit to turning up at the ground dressed to the nines giving off an aroma of 'Bleu de Chanel !
Edited by Willo (13 Apr 2018 3.57pm) I picture you in different shades of natural coloured slacks from the back of the Daily Express supplement finished off with similar coloured comfortable comfy faux leather shoes. On the odd occasion you wear jeans they are a pleated stone washed design with no name trainers from the local men's outfitters or the Daily Express supplement.

My word - I would cut a magnificent dash if I was attired as described !
