Even in the amateur scene many are injecting HGH, test, EPO etc. I spent 9 months training in Thailand (where you can buy roids at the Pharmacy) the amount of my friends who left me their steriods was insane. One of them owned one of the biggest MMA gyms in Canada, he said there all on it even talking me through how you mask them but can't remember the process. Look no further than Pacquiao and Mayweather, who both employed the notorious Alex Ariza, or Shane Mosley who worked with victor conte.

It should also be mentioned that some boxers just have very good genes for combat sports. Joshua, whether or not he is on peds reflects that....personally I don't think he is because of the stamina issues....but none of us can know for sure. When it's millions on the line people are going to want to access every advantage. However, the cost of the fall from grace is also massive...especially in the UK where we maintain an almost amateur like attitude to sports. Personally I think I prefer that attitude, innocent though it is, to the alternative.

Saul Alvarez's failed drug tests are confirmed. It's that old dodgy meat excuse again, just like the Fury boys. The promoters don't even give a crap now, it's like it's par for the course. No apologies or contrition, instead they stated: Golden Boy Promotions said Alvarez "looks forward to returning to the ring in September for Mexican Independence Day weekend".

A 6 month ban is pretty pathetic. How often would have had fought during that 6 month period anyway?
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

That'd usurp AJ v Wilder as someone holding all of the belts in a weight division then. Alvarez annoys me anyway, sodding around with catch-weight fights and stating that he won't take the WBC title even if he wins it.

I know there are some marvellously mesomorphic people out there but knowing how hard it is to be lean and densely muscled at the same time through diet and exercise alone, I am always suspicious.
