Bald bloke with the gloves on far left. Any ideas ? Jach? Roy must give very "rousing" team talks. See Tomkins.

Deffs is james daly on the far right. Thought it may be a little early for him, thought they may try lumeka. Fingers crossed if he is unblocked daly proves his worth

It's the young gk isn't it. Henry is it? Plus if Tomkins was in training does that mean he could play? Good news if so!

Lets find out what he's got. 18 is young but you never know unless you give them a chance. As we've seen. Not sure how old you are but we won 2 youth cups running, with 5 of them playing for the first team at the same time, 76/77 & 77/78. I firmly believe if they are good enough they are old enough, it’s my only critism of Roy, he had not given Lokilo etc a chance, even when on the bench he has left players in play when in the so called red zone & then they wind up injured.

My thoughts exactly! Old enough is good enough but overall the attitude towards young players in the PL is atrocious and mediocre "proven" players seems the safe way to go. Originally posted by MikeCrete
