Yeah from me, he is better than what we currently have, feel like the whole club is mollycoddling Benteke at the moment to keep him confident, Roy protecting him and saying he is doing other things well, players in interviews coming out and saying he is important.

I totally understand that mentally and treating a player like that, but I believe that if Balotelli was here getting that sort of support from the club, he would actually be delivering goals and good performances. He has always been one of those players that thrives on confidence and being treated well, Benteke hasn’t delivered at all and has cost us points this season.

I wonder how much he is in compared to Tekkers? Sell Benteke, and use the money to buy another striker, but a different type like a Gayle as well so next season we have 3 first team strikers and Wickham if he ever gets fit.

Benteke is done at this club, we can't keep offering chances go a bloke clearly not good enough or it'll eventually see us down.

Free as in £xm signing on fee, agents fee and £100k+ per week. That kind of free.

Incorrect, Balotelli's contract expires on the 30/06/2018, which is basically two months away. He will ask for a decent wage with a signing bonus but- I believe he is worth the punt.

He has managed to score 22 goals in 32 games: 14 in the league, 6 in Europa League and 1 in both Champions League and the cup.

I believe he would become ridiculous for us. He didn't work at Liverpool as he wasn't psychologically there. For a large ego player like himself, he has to come into a team and know he is a starter in order to build momentum. We can guarantee him time in the greatest league in the world and with the way the team is going, we are on the up. We can surround him with the creative talent he would need in order to grow as a player and get back into the Italy team.

I am looking forward to the future as a Palace fan, we have an owner, a manager, and players that love the team and don't look to be leaving "a different challenge" (a sly dig at Bolasie). Roy won't leave us and I think he can take us to places Palace have never reached before.
